We are born-again Christians who believe the Word to be inspired by the Holy Spirit and to be interpreted by that same Spirit. I will be going to heaven when this life is done, but not by any deed I have done, other than to accept the sacrifice that Jesus paid for on the cross. That grace and that alone is why I’m looking forward to eternal life.
My church is a place to have fellowship and ministry as well as a place to learn more. It is not an obligation to go, but rather something we look forward to. If you are an adult and go to church because your Dad and Mom said you should, or because you’ll feel guilty I’d suggest you take some time to make sure you are indeed saved, and then ask the Lord where He’d have you go. When you’re in the right place, you too will look forward to it;O)
If you aren’t saved, confess your sins and make a commitment to the Lord not to continue in sin, ask Him to forgive your sin, ask Him to come and take over your life and be your savior. Once you’ve turned your life to Him, read the bible each day and ask Him what He wants you to do and where you should fellowship. No complicated rituals, nobody else needs to intervene, but your desires should be to please Him. When you sin after salvation, turn quickly to confess them to keep the fellowship close with Him. You will definitely not regret it ~ and I’ll see you in heaven!

Love the picture and the hair cuts! I just got the blog link to Shauna and Dotty’s Pastor’s wife’s blog who just found out she has breast cancer and will be traveling with her husband tomorrow to Chicago for lumpectomy and treatment at Cancer Center of America. Of course they are also dealing with weather and going through this with Jesus. Their names are Ed and Debbie Waken. They have an adult daughter who has the mentality of a very young child. Her siblings are caring for her (Rachel) now. Thought you might want to pray for them. Jesus wrap His arms around you both. Love, Jean
