Sorry to be so side-tracked. Gil and I are moving so I don’t seem to get on the computer as I once did. Kathy started radiation treatments this past Wednesday. So far she says it’s not too bad. She’s still weak from the chemo and surgery but doing fairly good. I’m forgetting which med helped with the neuropathy pain, but it seems to be working fairly well at half dose. Since she’s going to have 33 doses of radiation, it will be a little over a month before she’s done with this part (daily doses).

Unfortunately it’s going to be more than 33 treatments. I talked to the doctor on Thursday and he said that it would be 33 for the lympth node area and 3-5 more for the scar tissue. Oh well; then I think I’m done. Although I knew I’d be having treatments through November, knew that was herceptin. The one side effect I have right now with the radiation is sleepiness; I can pass out in my chair with book open reading and wake up an hour later, with my book still open! I’m so tired that I don’t even get a warning so I can put the book up and get cozy; sheesh; crook neck galore. Thank you Suzie for keeping everybody updated. You’ve done a wonderful job with this and I really appreciate it. Love ya and talk to you soon.
